My love for birth was sparked in childhood when my sister and I enjoyed binge watching TLC’s A Baby Story. Fast forward to 2020, I became a certified birth doula and began supporting families, eventually being named Parent’s Choice Doula in DFW for 2024-2025! It’s my biggest honor and joy to support families on their big day, and I look forward to bringing my own baby earth side in early 2026!

FAQ 〰️

  • Placenta encapsulation is the process of preparing your placenta after birth by steaming, dehydrating, and grinding it into a fine powder, then placing it into easy-to-take capsules. Many new parents choose encapsulation as a natural way to support postpartum recovery, energy, and balance.

  • Some people report improved mood, energy, and milk supply, as well as a smoother postpartum recovery. However, current research—including findings summarized by Evidence Based Birth®—has not confirmed these effects in clinical studies. While scientific evidence is limited, many families choose encapsulation for its traditional and holistic appeal.

  • When prepared by a trained professional like myself following proper food safety standards, placenta encapsulation is generally considered low-risk. I follow strict sanitation protocols and do not process placentas from clients with infections such as Group B Strep or hepatitis.

  • The placenta is gently steamed, dehydrated at safe temperatures, and ground into a fine powder before being placed into vegetarian capsules. The process typically takes 24–48 hours and is done in my home.

  • It’s best to book your encapsulation by the third trimester so I can prepare supplies and instructions for your birth team. After delivery, the placenta should be refrigerated or stored on ice within a few hours until pickup or processing begins.

  • I have 2 packages available:
